David will be greatly missed by so many former students, fellow teachers and friends in the Central Maine music community. He and I were both personal and professional friends for many years, and coordinated several joint concerts with his Mt. View Chamber Singers and my adult community chorus. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Steve (as we called him) was my favorite teacher and was like a father to many of us at Boothbay Region High School where he taught from 1982-1986. It was an honor and a privilege to be taught by him, in chorus, madrigal group, and musicals. My husband and I met in his class 40 years ago.
