Linda Bevier Fenton
1951 - 2024

Linda Bevier Fenton, 72, of Jonesport, Maine, passed peacefully at the Sussman House in Rockport, ME on September 4, 2024.

Born in Middletown, NY in 1951 to Richard and Betty Bevier, Linda graduated from Valley Central High School and attended the Krissler Business Institute, where she began her career as a legal secretary. In 1986, she moved to Jonesport, ME, starting a new chapter as a CNA at Downeast Community Hospital, where she joyfully assisted many babies into the world.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Danielle Fagonde, and husband, Peter Fagonde of Hope, ME; son, Zachary Fenton of Jonesport, ME; stepchildren, Kersten Noyes, Justine Buscanera, and their families; grandchildren, Eben and Micah Fagonde; sisters, Nance Alley, and Sonia Roberts and husband, Tommy Roberts; and nieces and nephews, Braden, Trisha, Sheldon, Alexandria, and Victoria.

Linda's passions included flowers, birds, and Scrabble, where her extensive knowledge of words and strategic skills made her a formidable player. Her infectious sense of humor and deep love for her family made her the life of any gathering. She will be remembered for her dedication to keeping her family close and connected.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Richard Bevier; special niece, Hayley Alley; and life partner, Jackie Fenton.

Graveside services will be held at Bayview Cemetery on September 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), the leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization, at Breakthrough T1D Donation.
