June, sweet June, was one of the lovely neighbors of my parents on Ingraham's Hill overlooking Rockland Harbor in Owls Head. I was born into that neighborhood and always looked forward to seeing Tom and June and their three kids arrive the early summer. I appreciated June because she was always kind, but firm. She was wise and loving. Her art work always impressed me as she had a light hand and painted with simple strokes which always were impressive and subtle. I loved her Christmas cards! I will miss her. My love to her family, Jane Philbrook Newcomb Owls Head
