Obituary of Annette L. Andreasen
Annette Louise Andreasen (Dyer), affectionately known as Anne, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Augusta, Maine, her lifelong community, at the age of 61. Born on April 10, 1963, in Augusta, she was a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Anne is survived by her loving family: her mother, Gail Dyer; sister, Karen Cote and her husband, Don Cote; sons, Michael Cennamo, Anthony Cennamo, and Tyler Andreasen; daughter, Elizabeth Andreasen and her husband, Shane Andreasen; niece, Sarah Cote; nephew, Matthew Cote; and grandchildren, Christopher, Samuel, and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Dyer, and her son, Benjamin Newell.
An avid music and movie buff, Anne had an insatiable passion for the arts. She was profoundly creative, often expressing herself through art, crocheting, and needlework. Known for being the life of the party, Anne brought light and joy to every gathering and to everyone she met.
Anne's presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her legacy of love and creativity will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at the Cohen Center in Hallowell, Maine, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm.
