Obituary of Crystal Sue Robinson-Small

Crystal Robinson-Small, aged 59, passed away on August 8, 2024, in Richmond, Maine. Born on November 24, 1964, at Bath Memorial Hospital, Crystal was a beacon of strength and compassion throughout her life.

Crystal dedicated her early career to the home health care sector, where she provided invaluable support to families dealing with mental health issues and disabilities. Her selfless nature and dedication to helping those in need left an indelible mark on many lives. Despite facing her own challenges with disability later in life, her spirit and determination never waned.

Known for her big heart, Crystal was a pillar of strength during times of crisis, notably during Hurricane Katrina. She drove to rescue her son Rob and his family, showcasing her unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Her life was a testament to the power of giving, even when giving was hard.

At home, Crystal found joy in simple pleasures like working on crossword puzzles and enjoying seafood. Her love for her family was immense, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Crystal is survived by a loving family: sons Rob and James Robinson, granddaughters Cheyenne and Bekkah, grandson Jesse, mother Lila Harrison, stepfather Rex Harrison, and brothers Gary Small, Adam Harrison and Les Holbrook. Also, a long list of cherished friends.  Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where loved ones will gather to honor her memory and continue her legacy of love and generosity.
