Bob and Karen were driving forces in the fortunes of the Kennebec Valley Toastmasters here in Maine. Bob was club president when I first met him in 2012. His warm and funny wit made everyone instantly comfortable. His recruiting efforts revitalized the club with so many new members we held two meeting times on the same night to accommodate the audience size. Bob was open to any idea that made KVTM a place to build skills, express creativity or enjoy fellowship. His humor and love of people was inspirational. Bob's legacy as a dedicated Toastmaster and club leader will be forever embedded in the history of Kennebec Valley Toastmasters.

Karen, I’m so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. Our years in Toastmasters were so good mainly because Bob was such a wonderful person—funny, authentic, loving in a broad sense of the word. What a great guy…. Mark W.

Bob was one of the most sincere , hard working, and trustworthy persons that I was fortunate enough to know. I knew him as a young man, but I know those characteristics stayed with him throughout his life. It is no surprise that he accomplished so much!
