I cannot believe I am seeing this so late! Guy and Stacey were our neighbors in Mishawaka and we became instant friends. His stubborn personality certainly melted away after meeting our boys. He and Stacey were so nice to them and he absolutely loved that we were Cubs fans and that our boys played baseball. I will never forget him throwing balls over the fence to my boys or taking shots on the hoop we had put up in the backyard (with the help of his tools) with the boys. Before they moved, he gave me a bunch of Cubs memorabilia that I look at everyday and my boys fought over after Guy gave it to us. He is incredibly missed in our home and we miss sending him the BBQ I cooked that caused his backyard to smell like a BBQ restaurant for a few days along with Bre's mac and cheese. Rest well, my friend!

Guy left us too soon. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. He had amazing accomplishments in his life. The obituary was terrific. Thank you for all the history. xo

My deepest sympathy to Stacey and Guy's family. I did not know Guy well but I certainly knew that he accomplished. It is simply tragic that his life has been cut short. While artists have the highest profile in the American theater, the theater can only exist with unsung heroes like Guy. His dedication to the art, the artist, and the audience was unrivalled over the course of his amazing career. The people he inspired will help continue to move the American theater forward. He had a very special presence and passion for his work and his relationship with others. Everyone working in the theater today owes something to him. But Guy didn't need a "parade" in his honor--believing in what he was doing was all that mattered.

Guy was a great boss, but more importantly a good friend to so many. I will miss our time messing around in boats.
