Obituary of Randall S. Richman
Randall Richman of Los Angeles, b. 1955, passed away recently after a short illness. He is survived by his son Daniel and two grandchildren Alex and Kai.
Both a realty producer in Los Angeles and Ventura as well as a record producer of dozens of records from the Babylon Warriors to Nathan McEuen covering 5 decades. He achieved 30-year status in the Grammy Group, with several Grammy entries, NARAS.
A patron of the arts and collector, he befriended many up-and-coming artists like Kirk Saber and Scott Jacobs as well as seasoned icons as ceramist/humanitarian Beatrice Wood.
He received a BA from UCLA in political science and ran for public office twice, once for LA City Council in 1974 and Ventura City Council in 2016. As a political operative he was involved in many campaigns throughout the decades on both sides of the political spectrum.
After retiring, he moved to Maine to spend more time with his immediate family.
He was especially proud of his rainbow of friends and family from grade school to present spread throughout the world.
Journalism, editing, and publishing were passions of his including Ventura Magazine. Recent novelette, www.peaceequals.com was a recent work. He was most recently a member of Chabad of Ventura.
