I hope you know who much you meant to me! You kept hold of us and always made sure we knew you cared. As Annie said, we so looked forward when you would get a run close to us and we would drop everything to drive out to see you. Even when Aunt Sharon and you, only had time for a quick hour dinner, we didn't care and would drive way out to whatever truck stop you were at in Cali! You made sure that we were always remembered and not forgotten. You were more and meant more to me than just an Uncle and Aunt. The world is truly less bright without you in it and I wish I wasnt so hesitant to come up, so I could have seen you after all the time that had passed. I don't know how all of us, who were so lucky to have you in our lives, will cope without you in it anymore!
I will never be able to hear or watch John Wayne without laughing and thinking of you or your face when "The Panty Brigade" came across the lake with Aunt Sharon of course the leader. I will always have all my wonderful memories to cherish!
