Obituary of Scott Kevin Routhier

Scott Kevin Routhier, born January 4, 1969 in Portland, ME passed away on March 16, 2024 after a recent diagnosis of cancer.
Kevin grew up in Freeport, ME where he resided most of his life. His hobbies included basketball, biking, playing cards, lifting weights, among many others. Freeport High School Class of 1987 voted Kevin “Quietest” in his senior class yearbook yet he was always the life of the crowd. Kevin loved his family and friends, most importantly he loved to have fun. His ambition was “To live a great life.” An outdoorsman, he could be found enjoying a beer on the beach, walking downtown Freeport to get ice cream with the grandkids, or working outside no matter the weather. Kevin was smart, hands-on, a hard worker, a great cook, and took care of his loved ones. Kevin cared deeply for his children and his grand-children.
Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Gregory Routhier and Esther Routhier.
Kevin leaves behind his children, Michael Routhier, Bryan Routhier, and Rachel Routhier; his grand-children, Elena, Damian, and Gracie; his step-children, Ellie DeMarsh and Anna DeMarsh.
He is survived by his siblings, Rodney Routhier, Heidi Routhier, Lisa Conlon, Deborah McCombs, and Janet; his ex-wife, Tricia Atkins; his partner, Aimee DeMarsh; as well as many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and cousins.
