Lori, Mark, Derek,Erica, and families,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I have so many good memories of him when I was younger. Whether it was the infinite patience he had when Lori or I had a "horse issue" or the way he was always so quick to say hello and chat a bit when we were both working at the fair.
Please accept my sincerest sympathies to you during this time. Take comfort in the memories that you have of him.
Deepest Condolences,
Kim Whitaker

Dan Wilson was a cool guy.
I met Danny & Beverly in 1964 (Mr & Mrs Wilson then) when I started my Freshman year at Kent's Hill School and they were both the resident directors of our dormitory Wesleyan Hall...all freshman.
Dan Wilson was also My German teacher, a class I really enjoyed.
I also remember my father, Augusta OB/GYN doctor delivered their first born child in Augusta General Hospital.
We were always friends and enjoyed bumping into each other over the years.
Usually at Windsor Fair but a couple of times at Hannafords or etc places. But always a great conversation.
I am very sorry to see this and my condolences are fully extended to his family and acquaintances.
He never changes ....I always instantly recognized him.
Lee W Buddy Richards
We Freshman in 1964 were a handful but Mr & Mrs Wilson were always super nice and supportive of all of us.
Good People for whom you never forget

This obituary is a fitting tribute to a wonderful man and his caring family. Dan was a true friend and a very generous soul. We believe that we were better friends because of his giving and kind example. May he rest in peace and may we continue to cherish the memories of our friendship.

I met Dan many years ago when a group of us worked out at KV Health Club in the early morning hours. Dan made the mornings so enjoyable. He was kind, funny and caring. Many of us used to say that we wanted to be just like Dan when we grew up.
My love to his family with a special hello to Erika who often joined Dan at the gym.

Dan was a friend and lovely neighbor to me and my late husband, Kendall. You could always count on his generous kindness, great stories, and wonderful sense of humor.
