Jona was a long-time resident of Portland and passed away at Maine Med, she was born in Melrose Mass, she was cute with her big blue eyes and bright smile. As a kid, she was friendly, talkative, sociable, funny, sassy, sometimes silly, and quirky. She enjoyed many seasons at OOB and fun town Splashtown with Mom, Brother, and his Dad, many special occasions and events along with the Russo relatives of Maine, and enjoyed sites of interest, outings, vacations, and theme parks, while living with them. She enjoyed staying with the Sheridans of Maine on summer school vacations, and visits with the Olsons and Sheridans of Mass. As a teen, she attended Fryeburg Academy, was smart, confident, athletic, and participated in sports. She was crafty, and artistic and gained home improvement skills while working as an assistant to a building manager previously and briefly also worked for a cleanup service. She was self-reliant and independent, sometimes insistent, intense and fiery. She had her own unique sense of style and chose to live an alternative lifestyle. She became exclusive, elusive and strayed away from family, and struggled to overcome life's challenges, obstacles, and traumas, was heartbroken over her parents Malissa Sheridan and Jon Olson also Grandparents who predeceased her. She is survived by Brother Darren J Russo, his Dad Darren C Russo, Mimi Olson, and Siblings Evan and Aleea Olson, also Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins of the Sheridan, Olson, and Russo families. Companion Penny and their pups Zellah and Toby with whom she loved and enjoyed walking the neighborhood and watching sunsets up on the promenade together, Near and Dear Old Friends and Acquaintances all of whom will sadly miss her and forever hold her memory in their hearts!
