Obituary of Donna Jean Ouelette

DONNA JEAN OUELLETTE, born February 12, 1962 in Van Buren, passed away at St. Joseph's Memory Care in Frenchville at the age of 61.  Donna was co-owner of P&E Distributors in Van Buren with her husband Ron.  She was her happiest in high school jeans and a tee shirt quietly working her rock and flower garden.  She enjoyed and saw beauty in the simple little things many of us overlook - collecting unique rocks from seashores to the mountains, antiques to decorate with, collections of baskets and bee hives.  Donna enjoyed Old Quebec searching for wood carvings and old memorabilia.  She loved the lights of Las Vegas as much as sitting in front of a crackling fire.   Born and raised on a potato farm, hard work was a given.  She never asked for anything from anyone.  

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and Ronald R. Ouellette.  She is survived by her husband, Ron; daughters Erica and Jennifer; two grandchildren;  her sibling, Mark and his wife Wanda; nephews Wesley, Brandon and Robert of Greene.  

Thank you to the staff of St. Joseph's Memory Care with Hospice of Aroostook for the care and compassion for Donna in her final years and days.  Parting stones are available for keepsake.  In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to  St. Joseph's Memory Care, Activities Department.
