Obituary of Malcolm Small

Malcolm (Mac) Clarence Small, 69, of Lisbon, Maine, passed peacefully on August 19, 2023.

Mac was born June 29, 1954, to Laurel Small and Priscilla Burwood. Mac worked as a cab driver and a maintenance worker for much of his life. He loved to go fishing with his sons and had a passion for gardening.

He is survived by his father, Laurel Small of MA, and three sons, Josiah Small of Fryeburg, ME, Jared Small of Harmony, ME, and Nathan Small and wife Shannon of Stetson, ME. He is also survived by his companion, Kathy Tardiff, along with his sisters Mitchellynn and husband Ronald of China, ME, and Marilyn Cunningham of Aberdeen, MS. He also has three brothers, Mark Burwood of China, ME, Marty Burwood of Calais, ME, and Mike Small of China, ME. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mac was predeceased by his mother, Priscilla Burwood, and a sister, Michelle Watson.

The Celebration of Life will be at noon at the VFW Hall, 246 Main St., Fairfield, ME, on September 30, 2023.
