Snookie was a self-taught and extremely gifted artist and spent a year at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester. Although she rarely sold her art commercially, her paintings and prints proudly hang in the homes of her family and friends.
Snookie had a passionate commitment to her spiritual life highlighted by her relationship with her close friend and spiritual mentor Kimberly Green. She in turn was a mentor to many and led spiritual reflection groups in several congregations where both she and David attended.
A major highlight in Snookie’s life was her involvement with the International Women’s Club of New England serving as one of the Board of Directors and directing a program called Harmony and Friendship. Her crowning achievement in the club was serving as an Ambassador of Good Will in 1993 when she traveled to Amman Jordan for three months to work at a rehabilitation center for disabled and underprivileged children.
