Obituary of Anthony F Paine Sr

Anthony "Tony" Fredrick Paine Sr., 77, passed away peacefully at his residence in Sanford, Maine on Monday, July 17, 2023 with his family by his side.

Tony was born July 19, 1945, to Iverne and Francis Paine in Buxton, Maine. He grew up enjoying fishing, hunting, playing baseball, basketball and golf. After graduating from Bonny Eagle High School in 1963 he went on to serve his country in the Navy, where he learned to love cooking, playing the guitar, and aviation. After his time in the service, Tony went on to get his private pilots license, spending as much time as he could in the air.

Tony spent much of his adult life with his longtime companion Deanna Cox, who predeceased him in 2010. Tony is survived by his son Anthony Paine Jr. and his wife Sarah Paine, his grandson Benjamin Paine, his daughter Stephanie Noel and her husband Mark Noel, his sister Audrey Bernstein and her husband Buggsy Bernstein, and his brother Alvino Paine.

Graveside services will be held July 29, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris, Maine.
