From the Maine Venture Fund family, of which John was a part, our condolences to John's family.
John was a stellar and stalwart member of our team in his role as portfolio company board observer, and we were lucky to have him working alongside MVF with several other companies in various operational roles and with his roles within the broader Maine economic development community.
John's unique gifts as a kind, intelligent and direct personality, a calm in the often messy storm of startup company life, made him indispensable to any team or project in which he applied himself.
We'll miss John dearly and wish we had expressed more appreciation for him while he was still with us. Such a standup guy, and such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing him with us.
