We’ll always remember Nancy’s sense of humor. She was a terrific story teller—lengthy sagas laced with her hilarious impersonations. She was always up for fun whether it was telling a joke or being the audience for one. She complemented Dick’s taciturn demeanor and deadpan delivery with her own mischievousness. They both loved animals and spoiled all our dogs; Nancy often chatted with them.
We whiled away many summer afternoons with them as sunlight faded into twilight on the deck of our camp outside of Monson. There were lots of laughs and easygoing pauses as the evening cool crept in. We miss Nancy...and Dick...and hold fast to our memories.
