Obituary of Richard R. Bourassa

RICHARD R. BOURASSA, 72, of Palermo died June 13, 2009. He was born December 19, 1936. Richard was a beloved member of the Malcohm Glidden Post #163, actively participating for 11 years and serving his last 3 years as Commander. He will also be greatly missed by the Palermo Volunteer Fire Department where he was continuing his 12th year as a former President and the Safety Coordinator. Richard was pre-deceased by his Father, Roland Bourassa and Mother, Gertrude (Drolet) Bourassa. He is survived by his Wife of 27 years, Kay Bourassa; his Children, Trudy Descoteaux; Deena Hemsey; Richard Bourassa; Mariann Cook; Joseph Cassidy; Aaron Cassidy; his Aunt, Antoinet Dauphin; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and his loving extended family. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. July 11, 2009 at the Palermo Christian Church in Palermo with Pastor Ed Hatch officiating.
