Obituary of Beverly Emery Lane

BEVERLY EMERY LANE, 75, of Searsport died peacefully October 6th at home with his family by his side. Beverly had been fighting Mesothelioma since December of 2008. He was born July 17, 1934 in Bangor, the son of Emery & Bernice (York) Lane. Beverly loved the outdoors and big family get togethers. He liked to make Christmas Wreaths and visiting the ocean. He enjoyed going to Church and bringing his children and grandchildren. He lived to serve The Lord. He was pre-deceased by his wife Sharon A. Lane; a brother, Calvert; and sisters, Marjorie Savage and Merita Lane. He is survived by sisters, Rachel Green of Bangor; Carlene Osborne of Bangor; Marilyne Harrison of MS.; brothers, Maynard and wife Pam Lane of Bangor; Danny and wife Carol Lane of Bangor; Tony and wife Marissa Lane of Bangor; his children, Delis Lane of Bangor; Cindy and husband Dwayne Madden of Greenbush; Robert Thomas of Portland; Laurie and husband Jim Todd of Belfast; Dawn and husband Dan Ward of Belfast; and Alton Lane of Swanville; 16 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren. Friends are invited to call Friday October 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Avenue Belfast. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 10th at the Brooks Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jonathan Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Searsport.
