Obituary of John Hutton
John “Tiny” Hutton, passed away peacefully at his home November 21st, surrounded by his family and friends. John Served 20 years in the Navy Seabees and then worked 36 years for the Department of Transportation, State of Maine. He was a mason, Legionaire, and a member of the VFW. He loved listening to and playing music with his many friends both in Thorndike and Eastport.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, John Jacob, and Margaret “Calder” Hutton; his grandparents Edgar B. and Thelma Calder, and his sister Alice Flye. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jayne “Hubbard” Hutton; his daughters Ernestine M. Keller and her husband Kevin, Shannon Hutton and companion John Szumita, and Kimberly J Mealey; a brother James E. Flye and his wife Arlene, sisters, Colleen Cook and her husband Michael, Laureen Clark, Kathleen Crockett and husband Gerald; mother, Faylene Otis; aunt Hilda Dinsmore; grandchildren Michael, Aimee, Gary, Derek, Dylan, John Paul, Austin and Alyssa; numerous nieces and nephews, and all his music friends and family; his special feline companion L.W.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the American Cancer Society and Veterans association, and in memory of John “Tiny” Hutton.
