Obituary of Paul E. Grant

PAUL E. GRANT , 78, died December 14, 2009 in Waterville. He was born in Belfast on January 18, 1931, the son of John and Gertrude (Jenkins) Grant. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, tinkering and fixing things and working in his wood shop. He loved driving his truck and going riding with Christine, eating popcorn, crackers and watching TV. He especially loved his family, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three children, Michael Grant Sr., Mariette and Brent and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christine (Hanson) Grant; his three children, Paul Grant of Buckfield, John Grant of Poland and Stephen Grant of Texas; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a sister Marguerite Perkins of Connecticut. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held Monday, December 21st at 11 a.m. at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast with Pastor Matt Shaw officiating.
