Obituary of Wayne M. Elwell

WAYNE M. ELWELL SR., 68 of Northport, passed away January 5, 2010 in Belfast. He was born in Belfast on January 29, 1941, the son of Arthur M. and Mildred (Morrison) Elwell. He worked for many years at Penobscot Poultry and then went on to work at Champion International. Wayne enjoyed working outdoors, building things and was always doing something. He cherished his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and enjoyed his family very much. He was predeceased by both parents and his wife, Maritta (Bonin) Elwell. Wayne is survived by his three children, Pam Elwell and companion Stephen Cummings of Northport, Wayne Elwell Jr. of Northport, Tina Kelley and husband Anthony of Hancock; two brothers, David Elwell and Gary Elwell; five grandchildren Stephen Cummings Jr., Kristy Elwell, Jade Cummings, Nikyla Kelley, Anthony Kelley Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Dominic Cummings; several nieces and nephews.
