Obituary of Earl D. Peavey

EARL D. PEAVEY, 78 of Montville, passed away February 28, 2010 in Waterville. He was born in Montville December 1, 1931, son of Forrest and Minnie (Sanford) Peavey. He loved working. He worked for the State of Maine, Lee Brothers and Dick Edgecomb. His last job he loved the best, working at Hidden Valley Camp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and his dog. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers Henry and Junior. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Shirley Peavey of Montville; his children Donna Stanley of Searsport, Diane Benner of Waldoboro, Donald Peavey of Searsport, Forrest Peavey of Montville; step-children Frederick Soule of Waterville, Bonnie Parsons and husband Dan of Unity, Lisa Soule of Waterville; a brother John Peavey of Vermont, sister Lois Littlefield of Waldo; 7 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 5th at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast with Pastor Fred Williams officiating.
