Obituary of Robert E. Rodgerson

ROBERT E. RODGERSON, SR., 72, passed away July 1, 2010 at his residence in Stacyville. He was born September 9, 1937 to Arthur E. and Luda (Mclain) Rodgerson. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 at which time he received an Honorable Discharge. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna, in 1999. He is survived by his significant other, Joyce Hayes, his daughter, Pam and husband Merrill from Hampton, NH; sons, Robert E. Rodgerson Jr. from Seabrook, NH and Everett and family from Gardner, Massachusetts; Joyce’s son Todd and his family; step-daughters, Irene Heath from Stacyville and Bettyanne from East Holden; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Gilbert Rodgerson of Millinocket; two sisters, Marcia Baker of Bangor and Judy Lane of Hampton, NJ; and a special grandson who is serving in the Army in Germany, Joe Rodgerson. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10th at DAV Hall in Stacyville followed by burial at New Sherman Station. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
