Obituary of Belinda Quintana Velazquez

BELINDA QUINTANA VELAZQUEZ, 57, passed away July 22, 2010 at her residence in Brunswick. She was born in Havana, Cuba September 11, 1952, daughter of Francisco and Marta (Velazquez) Quintana. Belinda had a passion to keep a very clean and orderly home. She loved cooking for her family and loved to pass on her favorite Cuban recipes to anyone who enjoyed her cooking. Belinda loved people and was an open and friendly person. She was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Ronald J. Yessman of Brunswick; her daughter, Marta (Quintana) Abbasi of East Stroudsburg, PA; her father; her grandchildren, Moonie and Alycia Abbasi of East Stroudsburg, PA; sisters, Raquel Burroughs of Wilmington, NC, Maria Quintana, Mercedes Quintana, Martica Velaxquez, all of Miami; brothers, Franciso Quintana and Victor Velasquez, both of Miami. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
