Obituary of Patricia Ann Allison

PATRICIA ANN ALLISON, 69 of Waldo, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Waldo County General Hospital. She was born on March 18, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late William and Josephine Moore (Grossett) Weikel. She was married to William Boyd Allison Sr. in Pittsburgh in 1964. She worked as a seamstress for many years, retiring from Abes and Baumann, Attorneys at Law, in 2005 as a paralegal. She received a BA in Legal Studies from Point Park College in Pennsylvania. She was active in the Roman Catholic faith and her local choir for many, many years and enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, knitting and painting. She had many fond memories of camp at Keystone State Park in Pennsylvania. She is predeceased by both of her parents; her husband and her great Aunt Elvira. She is survived by her two sons, William Boyd Allison Jr. of Pennsylvania and Brian Matthew Allison of Waldo, Maine; two brothers, Richard L. Weikel, his wife Mickey and William J. Weikel; several cousins, Tom, Lee, Anthony, George and Wes; a niece; three nephews and her great Aunt Alberta Weikel all of Pennsylvania. She will also be fondly remembered by her life-long friends from Pennsylvania, Maria Colangelo and Ila Boyd and a special friend and caregiver Michelle Wood of Belfast. There will be no funeral service per Patricia’s request. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Foundation, 80 Elm Street, Portland, Maine 04101. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
