Obituary of Ronald S. Lynch

RONALD S. LYNCH, 56 of Waterboro, passed away December 17, 2010 in Scarborough after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Millinocket on November 8, 1954, son of Paul and Beverly (Dunn) Lynch Sr. He graduated from Stearns High School in Millinocket in 1973 and studied culinary arts at SMVTI graduating in 1975. Ronald enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, hunting and sports. He especially loved fishing at the farm with grandmother and grandfather. Most important to him was his love and care for his family. He was predeceased by his father, Paul J. Lynch, father-in-law Joseph J. Derbyshire, grandmother Rita Rollins and grandfather Filmore Rollins. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Catherine D. Lynch; his children, Stephen J. Lynch, Sean M. Lynch and his dog Muttley, all of North Waterboro; his mother Beverly A. Lynch of Millinocket; siblings Philip Lynch of Lyman, Joe Lynch of Winterport and Diane Cyr of Hermon; nieces and nephews, Jessica Daigneault, Philip J. Lynch, Joshua Lynch, Matthew Lynch, Danielle Cyr, Dustin Cyr, Ben Cyr. A celebration of Ronald’s life will be announced at a later date.
