Obituary of Roger A. Denis

Roger A Denis 78, of Ellsworth passed away at an Ellsworth hospital surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born February 8, 1933 in Westbrook to Wilfred Denis and Laura Landry. He proudly served in the US Army reaching the rank of Sergeant and completing a tour of duty in Korea. After an Honorable Discharge, he began his career as a driveway contractor and operating his Portland area business known as Denis for Driveways. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rose Nappi Denis and his son, Jay Denis and wife Cheryl. Roger had a special relationship with his step-children Heidi Langlois and Mary Austin of Ellsworth, Joseph Langlois III of TN; his 3 children Kevin and his wife Susan, Rosemarie, and Kimberly Denis of Standish. He was fortunate to enjoy the company of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his Mother, Laura. Services will be held in his honor at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road Augusta, ME at 12 noon Friday March 4 2011.
