Obituary of Mary-Jo Stafford

CHELSEA -- Mary-Jo Stafford of Chelsea passed from this life on March 21, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Adelaide, in 1988, and her husband and the love of her life, Ralph Stafford, in 1988. Surviving are her children, Donald, Joseph, Cassandra and Kimberly; her grandchildren, Jay, Joe, Kelly, Dylan, Bobbi-Jo, Ali, Megan, Kegan, Aedan and Katherine (unborn); and five great-grandchildren, Selena, Cam, Jack, Spencer and Natalea. She had two brothers, Pete and Vin; a sister, Sally; several stepchildren, nieces and a nephew. She leaves two very special lifelong friends, Carolyn and Winnie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Alfond Center, Dr. Khomani, Hospice and Anna Blake for their help during this difficult journey. We would also like to thank the Native American drumming group who came to drum for her in the final days. Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be held this summer at Pagett Farm in Palermo.
