Obituary of Alfred E. Charette

ALFRED E. CHARETTE SR., 92, passed away May 17, 2011 at Farmington. He was born in Middleboro, Massachusetts on March 31, 1919, son of Alfred J. and Minnie (Shaw) Charette. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister. Alfred is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elsa B. Charette; his children, Alfred Jr., Edward, Richard, Kathleen, Elisa and Elsa; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews as well as many foster nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 8 a.m. Saturday, May 28th at the chapel at Togus VA Center in Augusta with Father Tom Farra officiating. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery on Islesboro.
