Obituary of Thomas M. Piersiak II

Thomas M. Piersiak II, 22 of Needham, Massachusetts died early in the morning on August 9th 2011 as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. Thomas was born to Tom and Heidie Piersiak on January 11th 1989 at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, Maine. Thomas grew up with his sisters Iris, Heather, and Holly in the woods and fields of Knox. Thomas graduated from Mount View High School in 2007 and attended Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle. Thomas left Maine to join his grandfather, father and uncles as part of the family’s plumbing trade in Needham, Massachusetts. He loved working alongside his Uncle Jack and Dad every day. Thomas was only one week away from achieving his Journeymen’s Plumbing License. Thomas was a champion Go-Kart racer, an excellent hunter and loved fishing with his dad and friends. He was an avid participant in all forms of motor sports, often riding his snowmobile to school and managing to ride just about anything into the pond. Thomas was kind, laughed loudly and often, and loved his family and friends more than anything, especially his youngest sister Holly. Thomas is survived by his mother, Heidie J. Piersiak, his Father, Thomas E. Piersiak, sisters, Iris Piersiak, Holly Piersiak, Heather Tozier and husband Jordan Tozier, grandmothers, Carolyn J. Piersiak, and Emma G. Lowe, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Thomas M. Piersiak, and Albert “Skip” Lowe, his Aunt Judy Anne Maas, and Aunt Heather Piersiak. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 12 at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Brooks Congregational Church.
