Obituary of Edgar A. Clark

EDGAR A. CLARK, 69, died August 25, 2011 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Belfast on February 8, 1942, the son of Luther and Annie (Holmes) Clark. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran who loved to tinker. He would fix old things and then give them away to people in need. He loved helping others. He is survived by two children, Dawn Marie Chaffin and Shawn Clark, both of Indiana; his siblings, Eugene Clark of Connecticut and Reginald Clark of Belfast; his sister-in-law Rena Robinson of Belfast; nieces and nephews, James, Donald, Heather, Lynn, Ellen, Karen, Jeff, Binky, and a special nephew David Clark of Thomaston; as well as his cat Babe. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Grove Cemetery in Belfast. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
