Obituary of Richard Paul Robinson

RICHARD PAUL ROBINSON, 59, passed away at his home in Thomaston on January 14, 2012. He was born in Rockland on September 7, 1952 to Condon and Pauline (Cotton) Robinson. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked many years for Nautica and then returned to the job he loved the most – driving taxi. Mitch loved visits from his granddaughters. He enjoyed camping, fishing and learning how to play his guitar. He loved telling stories and making people laugh. He enjoyed a good game of Cribbage with his best friend, Henry. Family gatherings at home were a favorite time for him. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia of Thomaston; his children Aaron Henry, Kendra Ann and Tracy Elizabeth, all of Rockland; brothers and sisters, Chip Mitchell and wife Linda, Denise Pearse and husband Larry, Debra Heaberlin and husband Kent, Parker Mitchell, Stanley Tewksbury and wife Jean, Cheryl Coutermash and husband Lou; his grandchildren, Kloey Iris, Melody Rose, Desmond Andrew. He is also survived by his special family, Ron Jr. Frances, Leona, Nancy, Eve, Skip, Mark, Lauri-Lyn. He is loved by many and missed by all. There will be a celebration of life benefit and pot luck at 2 p.m. February 18th at the Oddfellow Hall, Rt. 1 in Warren. Please call Pat at 593-7873 with questions.
