Obituary of Patricia LeVeque Heiler

Patricia LeVeque Heilner, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born March 23, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Leslie and Elsa LeVeque. She was a generous and spirited woman, an avid sailor and extremely devoted to her family. She loved flowers, tennis and the George Stevens Academy jazz bands and combos. Patty was predeceased by her husband, David Heilner, her brother, Frederick LeVeque and her sister, Betty Niehoff. She is survived by her son, Marcus, his wife, Pam and their children, Peter, Lincoln and Loan of Johannesburg, South Africa; her son, Frederick, his wife, Prudy and their children, Madeline and Alexander of Blue Hill, Maine; her son, David, his wife, Karen and his children, Nicholas and Esko of North Yarmouth, Maine; her daughter, Elsa Marsh, her husband, Jay and their children, James, Matilda and Thomas of Blue Hill, Maine; and her daughter, Gretchen McCondochie, her husband, Alasdair and their daughter, Calumina of Kensington, California. The family wishes to thank her caregivers for love, support and thoughtful attention during her final years. A memorial service will be held later in August.
