Obituary of Myra L. Stevens

Belfast: Myra L. Stevens, 96, died 10/15/12 at a local hospital. Myra was born Nov. 8,1915 in Pittsfield, the daughter of Edward & Sadie (Day) Carter. She managed Stevens General Store in Swanville for years with her husband Charles, who pre deceased her in 1967. She enjoyed reading, writing short stories, and history. Myra is survived by a nephew and good friends Bud & Jean Merrill and Viola Greeley. Funeral services will be held at Riposta Funeral Home Thursday 10/18/12 at 11:00 am internment will be in the Smart Cemetery Swanville. Friends are asked to make donations in Myra’s memory to their local Red Cross Chapter.
