Obituary of Anthony Patrick Albano

Anthony Patrick Albano, 70 of Searsport, passed away on January 16, 2013. He was born on August 16, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Wagner) Albano. Anthony was an active participant of St. Francis of Assisi Church as well as custodian. One of his greatest joys was helping people, volunteering locally at the soup kitchens as well as the Mustard Seed in Searsport and Thurston Ministries distributing food. Anthony was an old movie buff and liked playing on his computer. He is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Michael and Frank Albano. Anthony is survived by his children, Patrick Albano and Tonya Jean Albano, both of Milford; his brother Joseph Gianada of New Jersey; several grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 25th at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belfast with Fr. Chris Piselli officiating.
