Obituary of Michael Harriman

Michael O. Harriman, 68, of Verona Island, passed away January 28, 2013 at St. Joseph hospital with family by his side. He was born April 30, 1944 in Belfast, the son of the late Owen and Mary Izeldia (Landerville) Harriman. Michael was a longtime fisherman and mechanic, who could fix anything put his way. He enjoyed being on the water, traveling and most of all spending time with his family and friends and his two dogs Pippy and Merlon. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Dorothy Harriman of Verona Island, his children: Bridgette & Dennis Harvey and Susan & Jon Lounsberry, all of Bucksport, son Timothy Turner and his wife Laurie of LaGrange, step-children Sally & Lennie Bridges of Penobscot and Ailean Seekins of Bucksport, his sister R. Kahliel Johnson of Stockton Springs, 13 grandchildren; Phillip Harvey and his wife Kayla, Andrew Harvey and his wife Jessica, Lillie Noak Harvey, Ben, Emily, Samantha & Michaela Lounsberry, Kate, Sam, Mary & Harvard Bridges, Caleb & Evan Seekins, 5 great grandchildren; Addison & Miranda, Wyatt & Madelyn, and Miya and 2 nephews. Michael also will be missed by his very good friends, Larry Dakin, Billy Grant, Fred Chase, Jimmy Sanders and many others and you know who you are. The children would like to thank you all for being such wonderful friends to Mike and Dottie over the years. He was predeceased by one step son David Seekins. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Saturday February 2, 2013 at the Verona Town Hall 16 School St, Verona Island, ME. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Bangor Humane Society 693 Mt.
