Obituary of Marian L. Robbins

MARIAN L. ROBBINS, 93, wife of the late J. Philip Robbins, passed away on April 3, 2013. She was born in Swanville November 19, 1919, daughter of Ephraim and Margery (Walker)Littlefield. She was a graduate of Crosby High School. For many years she worked in the medical field as a secretary in several different physicians’ offices, the St. Joseph Hospital Medical Records Department in Bangor and Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. Marian was a resident of Swanville, living on her beloved Swan Lake for 35 years. At that time, she was a member of Swanville Union Church, the Swanville Church Guild and also a member of the school board. She is survived by her sons, David P. Robbins and wife Jacki of Monroe, Jonathan L. Robbins and wife JoAnn of Searsmont; three very special grandsons, Levi P. Robbins and his wife Brianna and their daughter Page, all of Windham, Jesse L. Robbins of Bainbridge Island, Washington and Kyle Robbins of Monroe; her sister Elmeda L. Harriman of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Sara Sprague and three brothers, Russell, Elmer and Clinton Littlefield. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12th at 1 pm at Riposta Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Swanville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Waldo County YMCA, 157 Lincolnville Avenue, Belfast, ME 04915.
