Obituary of Mary Tardy Lovely

Mary A Tardy Lovely went to be with Christ on April 3, 2013. She was born in Presque Isle on November 6, 1947, the daughter of Edwin and Mable (Guiou) Tardy. Mary was one of the dearest and kindest women one could meet. She never met a stranger and loved unconditionally. She loved her children, grandchildren, music, dancing, butterflies and nature. Mary graduated from Presque Isle High School and married Dorne Lovely in 1964. They worked side by side through farming, a scrap metal business and a firewood business with their sons. She retired from CCH in Caribou in 2012. Mary is survived by her mother Mable Tardy of Port Charlotte FL, her son Dorne and his children Brittany and Jayson; her daughter Candy and Derek Libby and their daughter Jessica and Nate Danforth and their daughter Mackenzie (the apple of Mary’s eye); daughter Amanda and sons Sean and Greg; and her son Parrish and his son TJ. Mary is also survived by her partner Paul Dumont Sr. and his children Paul (PJ) and Diane and their sons Damien and Isaiah; his daughter Heidi and Adam Simose and their sons Joshua, Aimon and Colton. She is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her husband Dorne, her father Edwin, her sister Rebecca Harris, brother Edwin and maternal and paternal grandparents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner Hospital for Children, Donations, 51 Blossom Street, Boston MA 02114. There will be a graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Presque Isle and a memorial gathering at the Dumont home in Wade to be announced at a later date.
