Obituary of Edith Littlefield Young

EDITH (LITTLEFIELD) YOUNG, 86, passed away July 17, 2013 at Country Manor in Coopers Mills. She was born in Belfast September 8, 1926, daughter of Lyle and Orra Littlefield. She graduated from Walker High School in Liberty. She worked for two years as a telephone operator in Belfast and 11 years at Penobscot Frozen Foods. She is predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Young and is survived by her children, Steven Young and his wife Carol, Judith Curtis and her husband David and Ronald Young and his wife Linda. Edith is also survived by her grandchildren, Laurie Millay, Sarah Curtis, Jason Young, Terry Ward, Deborah Hills, Jean Smith, Ivory Young, Shane Young, Michelle Young; 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. July 27th at Morrill Village Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
