Obituary of Leroy R Kenney

Leroy R. Kenney, 67, of Waldo passed away at his residence August 24, 2014 with his loving wife by his side. He was born November 15, 1946 in Jackson the son of the late Henry and Minnie (Whitcomb) Kenney. Leroy worked for over 30 years as a carpenter for Sargent Corporation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed playing slots in Bangor. Leroy was predeceased by a daughter Jennifer, two brothers Donald and Reginald and a sister Sue Nason. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years Thelma (Ridley) Kenney of Waldo, a son Jeffrey Kenney, step children: Darby Ludden and wife Kathy of Unity, and Debbie Reynolds and companion Daryl Chenevert; 5 grandchildren: Sonny, Brandon, Josh, Danielle, and Jeremy, 6 great-grandchildren, and his siblings: Barbara Cunningham of Belfast, Henry Kenney Jr. and wife Sally of Waldo, and Rosie Boynton and husband John of Belfast. He also will be missed by special friends Walt and Nan cy Carrel of Belmont and Wendell Ridley of MA.
