Obituary of William Martin Johnson

WILLIAM M. JOHNSON, 48, of Montville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Augusta 30, 2014. He was born in Santa Maria, California on February 4, 1966 to Glenn F. and Janice E. Johnson. He had a great love for music including that of Led Zeppelin, Queen, Frank Zappa and Nirvana. William loved to play his guitars and dream of life on stage. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. William also graduated from University of Berkley in California with a double major in English and Rhetoric. He had many careers over the years. William finally settled on nursing with a BSN from Regis College in Weston. He worked at Tall Pines in Belfast where he formed friendships with staff and residents alike. William is survived by his spouse Bernadine Johnson of Montville; mother Janice Johnson of Montville; aunt Dorothy Teeple and cousin Steven Temple both of Dent, Minnesota and a large family of in-laws. He also leaves several kitties who will miss their fishy treats. A celebration of William’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
