Obituary of Arthur Nick Moody

Arthur "Nick" Moody, 82, passed away Sept 15, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was born January 19, 1932, in Taunton, MA, the son of the late Remington and Ruth Moody. Nick graduated from Coyle High School. After high school, Nick was drafted into the Army where he served in The Korean War. After leaving the Army, Nick worked for JK hauling lobsters from SWH to Boston and Nova Scotia. In SWH, in 1955, is where he met his loving wife, Pauline. It was then that he moved to SWH and spent the rest of his life running his own business until the day he retired. You could always count on seeing Nick having coffee in the early morning hours at the Kozy Kove. Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Pauline (Dunbar) Moody; his daughters, Cheryl Moody and fiance, Jack Gilley, Jr.; Lynne Mackenzie and son-in-law Colin Mackenzie; his grandsons, Nick Sayre; Adam Sayre and significant other, Morgan Gilman; granddaughters, Bailey Mackenzie; Morgan Mackenzie and significant other, Russell Sprague; and his great granddaughter, Savannah Sayre; and many sisters and brothers in law; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, Sept 20, 2014, at Manset Union Church, Manset with Pastor Chuck Ives officiating.
