Obituary of Joyce Bradstreet Lessard

Joyce ( Bradstreet ) Lessard, 74 of Topsham, Maine passed away peacefully and comfortably November 6th, 2014 with her husband and two of her daughters by her side. She was born in Lewiston to Charles and Alma Bradstreet on July 30th 1940. Joyce was educated in Lewiston schools and worked in a shoe factory in Lewiston and Portland as a young girl. She later moved to Portland with her husband where they raised three daughters. Once her children were grown, she went to work in two nursing homes for a few years. Joyce and Raymond then moved to Topsham nine years ago. Joyce enjoyed watching birds, ceramics, flea markets and being with family and friends. Surviving besides her husband Raymond A. Lessard are her three children: Deborah Webber of Gorham, Maine, Susan Twombley of Gorham, Maine and Lisa Lessard of Mississippi and her brother Irving Bradstreet of Maine. Joyce also has five grandkids: Sherri, Randy, Jennifer, Justin and Nathaniel and five great grandkids: Katie, Tess, Aubree, Chase and Mason. Joyce also had many nieces and nephews. Ray, Debbie and Lisa would like to extend a special thank you to Joyce’s niece (Daughter), Diane Romano, for all her help during this difficult time. Joyce is a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved her. At her request, there will be no services.
