Obituary of Keith Neddeau

Bucksport - Keith S. Neddeau, 77, of Bucksport passed away on January 8, 2015 in Bangor surrounded by family after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 10, 1937 in Princeton, the son of the late Victor and Gladys Neddeau. Keith attended schools in Princeton. He loved to play baseball and was on the Princeton mens league at age 14. He served three years in the National Guard followed by three years in the US Army and was honorably discharged. He married his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Foley, in 1960. He said she was the best thing that ever happened to him in his life. He was employed for 33 years in the Bucksport paper mill, retiring in 1999. He loved sharing his passion of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots with his grandsons. His favorite place to be was by the ocean. For many years Keith enjoyed riding his motorcycle around the back roads of Maine, especially when his son joined him. When his children were young he took the family on many camping adventures. Family was very important to him and he cherished his time with them. He loved attending his grandson's sports activities. Keith was known to be a practical joker with a dry sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was previously deceased by his parents, daughter Kelli Rae, brother Larry, mother-in- law Marjorie Mahar, brother-in-law Lloyd Foley and niece Wendy Hosford, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
