Obituary of Justine Marie LeVasseur

Justine “Jess” Marie LeVasseur Caribou – Justine Marie LeVasseur, 85, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Allie and Bertha Thibodeau. After graduating from Caribou High School, Justine worked as a cook for the Caribou School Department for 30 years and was known for her cooking skills, especially her legendary rolls. She is survived by her children: Mark, Matthew, Christine and Amy and grandchildren Ben, Alia and Celia. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Francis “Jiggs” LeVasseur, and several brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends with whom she spent many cherished summers at Madawaska Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cary Medical Center where Justine received wonderful care. Private graveside services will be held in the spring.
