Obituary of Alice C Foy

Alice C. Foy, 75, of Montville passed away surrounded by her family on March, 25th, 2015. She was born in Somerville Mass., on March 3rd, 1940 and grew up in Billerica Mass. Alice was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and was a member of the Turnbull Clan Association. She enjoyed cooking, cake decorating, playing guitar and singing. She was also a talented artist and painted many ornaments. She did tin punch and terrariums as well as many other crafts. In her late years she enjoyed telling corny jokes to anyone around. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Burleigh F. Foy, a son Mark Andrew Foy, her parents Dean and Amelia (Watson) Turnbull, Brother Dean Turnbull Jr., and Sisters Edith and Lois Turnbull. Alice is survived by her five children, Laurie Foy, Katherine Foy - Bartley and her husband Jeff, Gail Pomerleau, Fred Foy and his partner Carrie McFadden, Paul Foy and his wife Lynn. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tanya and Harry Philbrick and children, Anthony and Amber Pomerleau and children, Anastasia and Amelia McFadden - Foy and Wyatt Foy. Her brothers Lee Turnbull, Donald Turnbull and Wife Sandy and sister Helen Divol and husband John. A celebration of Alice’s life will take place at the Liberty Community Hall, 10 Serenity Lane (Rte 220), Liberty Maine on March 29, 2015 between 12:00 - 2:00 pm. A spring burial will be announced.
