Obituary of Loretta M. Michals

Loretta (Goguen) Michals passed away April 6, 2015. Loretta will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. A private service with the family will be held at a later date. Loretta was born on January 25, 1930 to Arthur and Irene Desharnais in Boston MA. She enjoyed reading, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and most of all she loved spending time with all her grandchildren. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Arthur; estranged husbands, Albert Goguen, Peter Michals; her sister Janet Scanlon, brother Paul Desharnais; two sons Patrick Goguen and William Goguen, and two daughters Doreen Goguen, and Denise Kierstad. Loretta is survived by her three brothers Armand, James, Robert, one sister Theresa Magwood, sons Gerald Goguen, Albert Goguen Jr, Michael Goguen, Mark Goguen, daughter Diane Woods, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
