Obituary of Yvon Joseph Boutin

Yvon Joseph Boutin, 75, of Swanville passed away on April 6, 2015 at his residence. Born in Coaticook, Quebec on September 4th, 1939 to Henri and Yvette ( Cotnoir) Boutin. Yvon was the oldest of seven children. His siblings were Lise, Ghislaine, Henriette, Marthe, Gerald, all born in Canada except for the youngest, Doris born in the United States. He was 16 years old when his family emigrated to the United States and settled in Hooksett, NH. He attended Bishop Bradley High School and eventually joined the Navy in 1956. He married Doris Yvonne Lasselle in 1959 (daughter of Oscar Lasselle and Marie Jeanne Garon). They had four daughters, Michelle, Melanie, Lisa and Natalie. They had one son David, who died in infancy. Yvon worked as a truck driver, pursued various business ventures, and enjoyed all things mechanical. He spent the last years of his life in the Belfast Maine area. He could often be found zipping around in his electric wheelchair at all speeds, telling stories, and doing things his way. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 8th, at 10:00am, 2015, at St. John The Baptist Parish, 10 School Streeet, Suncook, NH 03275.
